A foundational component of the GAS — Glamour, Attractiveness and Sexiness — that fuels our pursuit of Life à la Hot is simply the hygiene most of us practice, stepped up a tad. Beyond the basic need to eliminate dirt, oil, germs and the smell that accompanies them, here’s another opportunity to enhance our intrinsic feminine charm.

Part of the attractiveness component of the GAS — Glamour, Attractiveness, and Sexiness — that powers our pursuit of Life à la Hot, lies in the realm of cosmetic surgery and cosmetic skin treatments such as Botox and fillers. IN WHICH I COMMIT TO EAT HEAT.
As I’ve told you in my earlier posts, dear readers, I, Mrs.Hot, transformed from shot, to hot — losing a ton of weight, and then having cosmetic surgery to alter my too-large birthday suit, skin fillers to fill in lines and Botox to numb away the railroad tracks between my eyebrows.
Now my challenge is to maintain the weight loss — the most difficult part for most, considering 95% of dieters gain back the weight, then add even more. I had yo-yoed myself several times in the past. Now, however, I know I’ll keep it off forever, because I’ve finally made my peace with making not just a temporary fix, but forever lifestyle changes.

IN WHICH YOUR FAIRY GODMOTHER TURNS OUT TO BE … YOU!
Humans are visual creatures — we experience the world through our eyes, and we make our first immediate judgments about people based on how they present themselves. Whether they’re happy, sad, rich, poor, cool, nerdy, attractive, unattractive, love themselves, or hate themselves.
IN WHICH I CONSIDER HOW CONFIDENCE IS OUR MOST POWERFUL ACCESSORY, AND IT’S NOT EVEN FOR SALE.
A woman walks into a room and doesn’t just enter — she makes an entrance. That’s because no matter how good looking she is, her self-possession and confidence broadcast an attractiveness which can never be achieved through superficial flourishes; she need not have a bad ass to be a badass.
IN WHICH I REFLECT ON THE ENDURING VALUE OF A GOOD ERECTION.
How we hold ourselves is a universal body language in need of little translation. Round shoulders indicate low self esteem, while hunched ones are fearful and defended. Spineless people are, well, spineless. A stooped back is bent from burdens. Feeling depressed, low? Then so hangs our head.
IN WHICH I CONSIDER DRESSING TO KILL.
Accessories are part of the GAS — Glamour, Attractiveness, Sexiness — we put in our tank on our journey through Life à la Hot. Take the time to complete your look with the right jewelry, handbag, scarf — even gloves and hats, when appropriate. But it’s your shoes, especially, that you can count on to leave a trail of smoldering ash behind you, not to mention a few chalk body outlines where men have fallen like dominos in your wake.

It’s accepted wisdom that you should dress not for the job you have, but the job you want. This is a powerful truth which works on psychological, emotional and spiritual levels to indeed bring you that job. After all, you’re a walking vision board (see my post “Fabricating Fabulous” 10/9/14 ). Apply that same insight to dressing well, an essential component of the GAS — Glamour, Attractiveness, Sexiness — that powers the Life à la Hot of your dreams.

What’s more feminine than sexy lingerie? When it comes to lace, silk, satin, tulle, chiffon, crepe, ribbons and frills, this is where we ladies live: Ground Zero for the Girlie Girl. IN WHICH I CONSIDER THE IMPORTANCE OF SMELLING LIKE A ROSE.
One of my fondest memories is at the age of five, lying in bed at the Royal Hawaiian hotel in Honolulu. Though the room was pretty dark, the hurricane shutters were open and I watched, mesmerized, as the shadow of an exotic palm tree — my first time seeing them — swayed on the wall.
