The dictionary defines “feminism” as “the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes.” The verb, “feminism,” is of course defined as the “organized activity on behalf of women’s rights and interests.”
True feminism is equal rights, of course. But beyond that, it should be the celebration of the feminine, and the freedom to be the fabulous woman you are. For me and many women, inherently decorative creatures, our Inner Goddess predisposes us to making our surroundings and ourselves beautiful, for ourselves and others, and yes, that includes men. It has nothing to do with patriarchy or matriarchy — it’s simply accessing and expressing the Divine Feminine within us, outward.

A woman walks down the street. Though she’s neither beautiful nor dressed enticingly, every man turns to look as she passes by.
What’s her secret? She’s sexy, that’s what. She’s got IT. That smug, Mona Lisa smile hides not just an inner ease but downright delight with her femininity, her body, her sexuality. In America, then, the Goddess rarely gets her props — except famously from some men of color who admire larger women, as extolled in rap music. Regrettably, many guys continue to adhere to the unthreatening, asexual female stick figures which apparently do not challenge their fragile masculinity. A revolution shaking us to our foundations — our very brassieres — has been in order for a long time, for women here to invoke the Divine Feminine and claim their birthright of a full-on, hot female body.

In the Western world, the curvaceous feminine ideal has only sporadically triumphed throughout history — for example, as seen in ancient Greek art — the Venus de Milo — and later, the seventeenth and eighteenth century works of Rubens and Boucher.

Supermodel Kate Moss once noted that being thin feels better than anything tastes.
I consider that, now and then — luscious, fudgy brownie — Krispy Kreme doughnut — really hot french fries — a slice of pizza so cheesy, the hot goo strings away from the pie. I’ll go so far as to concede being thin — or in my case, at least, not fat, since I’m certainly not thin — feels as good as those fave foods of mine taste.
